Hey, Hey Hockeytown!

I took Friday off to go downtown with Holly, Noel and Bodie for the Red Wings Victory Parade. It was extremely hot in the unrelenting sun, crowded and miserable, but besides that, it was SO MUCH FUN! It was really cool to see the players and the Stanley Cup up close. The fans were taking pictures and cheering, but so were the players. They would go by on the floats thanking us and taking pictures of the crowd lining the streets. Hockeytown sure knows how to throw a party!

I forgot Brooke sat in the cup! Maybe her 1/2 Michigan-ness brought good luck to the Red Wings. I'm sure her Colorado family members wouldn't be too happy about that ;)
