Classy Bars Serve Boone's Farm

After putting in a half day of work on Friday, Kev and I headed to Alma for the weekend. On Friday night we went to Club Rox to see the Dirty Americans. The bar served Boone's Farm and it was hilarious watching everyone walk around drinking it straight out of the bottle. I would've been excited about this maybe 10 years ago when my body could still handle a bottle of Boone's!

Kev went biking with Dusty on Saturday morning while Sarah and I went to the Highland Festival. The day was topped off with dinner at Pizza Sam's with all our peeps that were in town and hanging out at the beer tent. Here are a few pictures:

The weather was beautiful and we had a fun weekend hanging out with family and friends! How did you spend the holiday weekend?

Comments:
that's funny! I heard something about the Highland Festival on the radio this weekend and immediately thought of you guys since I know you often go back for that. Glad you had fun! We took the kids to a parade today and hung out with some friends...glad you had fun!

I love the Dirty Americans. Jamie's cousin is a huge groupie and is freinds with the band. So I've been to a few of their shows. ROCK ON!!

Gotta love Boones Farm! I might just have to make a trip up to Alma for this one!

After our kickball game tonight, Ry and I went to a local Lansing Bar that served Hard Cider from Uncle Johns Cider Mill.

I ordered a "750 ml" bottle of the Apple Cherry Cider and it was delicious! Of course, the $12.99 price tag is not really in the same ballpark as Boones...but I would really like to see people drinking straight from the bottle!

I wish we could have been there! I think last year was probably our last festival. :(

P.S. You've been tagged!

Ok- Saturday night I went to a bachelorette party where one of the girls in attendance is dating the drummer of the Dirty Americans.

Just had to share.

Hi, as you may already noted I am recent here.
In first steps it is really good if someone supports you, so hope to meet friendly and helpful people here. Let me know if I can help you.
Thanks in advance and good luck! :)
